Aaron Adair is a playwright from Chicago, Illinois. He is the author of numerous short stories, three full-length dramas and a series of one-act and 10-minute plays.

In 2008, his one-act play
Dead Cat’s Bounce was selected by The Heartland Theatre Company for their second annual Emerging Illinois Playwright Project. The competition was judged by playwright Jeffrey Sweet.

Other recent productions include three short plays, The Trouble With Brandon by New York’s NativeAliens Theatre Collective, Reconstructing Julie by New York’s Algonquin Theater and the Lost Playwrights of Western North Carolina, and Buried In the Bahamas by the Close Theatre Company at St. Alban's in Washington, D.C.

In November 2009, he completed a residency at
New Light Studios (Beloit, WI), resulting in his newest full-length drama, Noticing Virginia.
